Church Retreat ’09

“Be imitators of God.”
Our second biennial retreat was held at Pinebrook Retreat Center from the 24th to the 26th of July 2009. Pastor Steven Milazzo accepted was the guest speaker at this occasion. He is the Senior Pastor of Bethel Assembly of God, Valley Stream, NY. Our retreat this year was no different, as God worked powerfully over that weekend. Our pastor apprized the doctrine that Christians should endeavor to resemble God as close as possible.

Welcome to ICANJ.org!
Just as many people participate in our services each week, I hope that many more will visit this web site each week. I encourage you to take the time to browse through and see the various ministry opportunities that are offered at ICANJ. It is a blessing to serve as the pastor of this great church and I trust that this site will be a blessing to you. As disciples and followers of Jesus Christ, we firmly believe that the core of our mission and ministry as a community of faith is rooted in the Great Commission: “Go therefore into all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19-20).
Finding a home church is a very important decision for a family to make. God desires that all of His children have a place to worship and hear the word which will cause them to grow spiritually. I extend to you a personal welcome to come and be a part of our family today. The ultimate decision, however, is between you and your heavenly Father. He will guide you and lead you to the place of rest and peace.
I would be honored to meet you personally and pray with you. If that is not possible, I hope you will visit us again real soon here on the website.
